Inborn Pair is about a resort president (also grandma’s boy) Ke Wei Xiang, who has the career he wants and is instead looking for his special someone. His grandma has betrothed Wei Xiang when he was still in the womb to the granddaughter of the man who saved her life, and grandma has been dreaming of the day her grandson can fulfill her promise. Wei Xiang is the reverse of the haughty, cold, and rude chaebol. He’s instead very considerate and kind, and he doesn’t have the heart to say no to his grandma’s lifelong dream.

The heroine Song Yi Jie is a legal assistant at a law firm who is in the process of obtaining her lawyer’s license. She’s a righteous young woman who believes in standing up for justice and doesn’t care for love when she’s got a career to pursue. Episode 1 has Yi Jie and Wei Xiang meeting cute when she pretends to be the lover of a sleazy man so that his wife can obtain the evidence to force him sign divorce papers. On her way to the rendezvous, she chances upon a woman tearfully accusing Wei Xiang of breaking her heart (but in truth the woman is his daft subordinate). Wei Xiang thinks Yi Jie is a “Xiao San” (homewrecker) while Yi Jie mistakes Wei Xiang for a lothario who toys with women.

    Never know that Chris Wang can act so well (kind of boring character but found true love and happiness in the end)! Saw him act in the earlier show (the Shrew Wife) did not find him that good looking however he is dashing !! He paired off well with Annie Chen (both veri natural). The last few episodes were fantastic, I’ve never watched a drama more than 40 episodes.

      that’s true, they are really good together… i’ve watched the drama series, MANY TIMES, find the drama good, w/good actress & actors… more power to the script writer, i find the story simple family story, yet w/fascinating acting of both the artists. i’m from phils…

      i think we should wait for the new drama series by annie. i really love her acting, go to her fans club in fb for her update shows. you will enjoy & love her more.

       I haven’t watch this drama, but since the comment here stated nice drama I may watch this when I have time. The other dramas that I could recommend which I already watched are “Love you” (drunken to love you),
      Fated to love you
      and “Office Girl”. Hope you will like them too.

    This show is SO much better than TiAmo Chocolate! It’s not as draggy even though it’s long!

    Can’t wait for the upcoming show that will begin airing after TiAmo Chocolate is over, it’s by the same director as Inborn Pair! It’s called《剩女保鏢》and will start airing on 31st July! I think it’ll be really good :)

      me too. It’s been a year and I still miss this drama and keep re-watching it. It’s the best drama so fat and none of the other can match up to it.

      I do hope that chris and annie would be able to work together and act in a new drama soon. They seem so compatible in real life in terms of their character and hobbies. :) :)
