ok so for those who are not clear on where this picks up let me give a brief description….
SPOILERS AHEAD
The story picks up from K.O re-act (終極一班3). 終極一班3 ended with King following Da Dong to the Iron realm. Da Dong was asked to go to the Iron realm to help his parallel self Xia Tien by transferring some power to him because he was hurt. The Iron realm had entered into a war with Diablo and its on going. No one knows what happens during the fight and the mother of Xia Tien, Xiong Ge decides to open up a dormitory to help others with powers (yi neng xing je) so that they have a place to stay. She continues to wait for her son hoping one day he will return while the dormitory and it’s residents continue to present exciting and mysterious stories …….
If you’re not familiar with the Iron realm you need to watch X-Family (終極一家). In this series some characters are being carried over but many new ones are introduced as well. Anyhow hope everyone enjoys this drama and anticipates it as much as i do =)
I think I’m going to like this series even if it doesn’t have Jiro. I think people need to give it a chance its only been two episodes.
i think it’s always like this ma starting few episodes will be boring just like the x family? so guys don’t give up on this prequel as it always has surprises i think it’s boring for the first two episode but i know it will get better. 😀

I hope the producers of the show sees this… I think this show FAILED. I don even feel like watching it. It feels like the overall feeling of the show changed. I don even feel like watching ep 1. I just don like how they changed the main cast. One of the things i liked most was xia tian & han’s love story… And now? All the main cast of x family(except for xiu, si ren, xia mei, ah gong & han ) went missing. I noe im suppose to try and accept changes and try to give the new cast a chance. But this show just does not attract me the way the x family does. The special element of this show is gone. It sucks how its all about love now. Hope thr is a x family re act. Im just ranting, cos i was excited at the thought of x family season 2. It would have been better of they introduced new characters without changing everyone else and destroying the entire storyline.
LOL. Tbh if you don’t like the show, don’t watch la. I mean they spend effort to think of storyline & act out and all they get is negative remarks from you? Well, how would you feel if you spend so much time and effort on this and get criticized ? I understand if you wanna rant, but not in a way where you criticize them so openly in a website everyone can see. and if you wanna watch jiro, DCW, Aaron, Calvin an all act, watch other shows la. I think you should thank them for the effort made and not criticize them. They would make better shows the next time but, criticizing them is not needed here. Well, think yourself la, without directors scriptwriter etc, would they be able to act? Would they be famous? Would you know who they are? Obviously not. So spare a thought for the ones who are actually making more effort to produce this show ! Tyvm.

i think that the scriptwriting have really bad planning skills… they hold on to tension for like 39 episodes (showing us non-important things…) and then 40th episode will throw us all the things we want to know… then must well make this into a movie… 2 hours long, short and sweet…

DISAPPOINTING ENDING. My heart sank when I watched the ending. It is touching but really too disappointing until you feel like watching this series is meaningless actually. Those characters you expect alot didn’t make it back. And apparently this series’ FB page were flooded with viewer’s comments of lousy ending which hits thousands comments. Haish. But I would like to say, the actors and actress did a good job in acting comedically and sometimes, when there’s emotional scenes, they did it really well. 🙂 Great job guys! ^^ Eventhough the ending was screwed up, nevertheless, it is still an acceptable series to watch. Haha.

Waited this long to see the old cast to come back only to be disappointed. Sad ending but still. don’t like this series just isnt the same without the old cast.
the ending sucks. but overall, the touching heart wrenching scenes really got into me. although i have held high hopes for these series, but somehow i expected that the old casts wouldnt be back… the ending was really heart wrenching especially the part where xiatian left a message to his mum and lover. that really got me crying. but still, they sacrificed themselves in order to save the dimension.
Gonna pretend this show did not exist. Totally ruined the entire plot of x family. Maybe they have problems getting the old casts back together but with this type of storyline, I’m sure even a 3 year old can do better. And even if u wan to replace the casts, at least let the new casts replace them properly and not just abruptly kill them off. i rather this show was never produced at all

It is not exciting anymore. They rarely fight with magic and only talks about their family.
I understand everyone one watches the series will be extremely disappointed at the X dormitory ending. In my opinion, this particular series does not want to focus much on the fighting aspect, but rather want to focus on the relationship between each and everyone in the dormitory. I do think that this series is very touching in a sense that it tries to tells the story about Xiong Ge coping to live on without her son and her love for everyone at the dormitory. There might be a reason why the produce/script writer decided to “kill off” the original cast because Fahrenheit had disbanded some time ago and it would not be easy to bring that back. I hope everyone will stop back-lashing at this series and understand the true focus of this series.
