尤其是YUKI，才剛出生的女嬰，就背負了帶來厄運的詛咒，被出養到有錢的日本士紳賴家，從此開啟波濤洶湧的一生。
童年的YUKI曾經是幸福的，無奈日本戰敗，賴家際遇一落千丈。
從小養尊處優，飽受呵護的YUKI，彷彿墜落紅塵的精靈，才8歲的女孩，就必須跟著「那卡西」走唱賺錢，飽嚐人情冷暖，只為了償還養家的恩情。
縱然苦難，也要抱持希望，YUKI彈奏的風琴聲裡，傳遞著她的心聲。
放牛的小明義聽呆了，在他眼裡，YUKI是個落難的公主，自己雖然永遠也不會變成王子，可是他願意當個忠誠的士兵，一輩子保護公主…明義在心裡默默許下了誓言。
