      who the fuck cares about hitler when he isn’t even in the pacific theater? The Japs are the Germans in Asia during that time. You deal with the problem in front of you. You don’t deal with unknown forces on the other side of the world.

    Its about time Taiwan starts remembering their Armed Forces in film and television. Its been a long time since any good movies and series of this genre has developed from Taiwan. And there are a lot of good movies from Taiwan’s past that deserve a modern remake.

    The acting was good but the production quality and anachronisms was a very disappointing letdown, esp. when I compare it to the South Korean drama, Comrades (戰友). I’m sure great people like 張自忠 deserve much better treatment.
