English synopsis:
It’s recession time, so you gotta work harder if you want to get rich! Mama Jiang and Papa Jiang have walked half their lives together, bickering all the way. i love wen sheng hao but i don’t think i have the patience to watch a series 80 plus long. i remember i watched the korean series THE TEMPTATIONS OF A WIFE and it ran for more than 159 episodes. i think. at that time, i had no idea it would be THAT long so i persisted. But after watching that, i promised myself NEVER to watch a very long series ever again because that kind of series (LONG) is very dragging!
Does that actor KunDa have a speech impediment? Why is it every role he plays he always seemed to have trouble spilling out his lines like normal people. It’s so frustrating listening to him talk.
The way he speaks fits his role.

I find it kind of ironic that Marianne is asking for English subs but she can’t speak English. Ming dang’s company gave Tim’s company a break for the money they owed ( ming dang let Tim go for a year then he needs he money back). Tim’s mom wants him to ask yu 真 to marry him so Ming dang won’t keep bugging them for the money, but Tim refuses. Yu zwen and the yi jie( piano guy) got together. Now wu ren Yao know about them being together but still thinks that there is a chance that yu zwen will like him. Chiang dad planned a family trip for the while family plus Ming dang to get yu 真 closer together. WATCH THE PREVIEW FOR THE NEXT EPISODE’S PREVIEW! Good stuff happening next wk:)

I started to watch this drama when it already had over 40 episodes aired. I asked myself the same question, since it has so many episodes. It’s easy to watch once the story gets going. I know the first 10 or so episodes went by slow for me. But afterwards it gets better and you get hooked, and eventually catch up. Now I’m watching it everyday. If you have the time to spare, give this a try. Hope that helps……maybe
